Hi there, Lorraine.....
Plaquenil did this to me too when I first took it, years ago - but soon settled down, just keep an eye on things yourself for a while and take time to get used to it.
After a few years off the things, I've restarted in the past week and I am experiencing the same awful dizzy, out-of-it symptoms..........very frightening. Make sure the experts are aware of it and be advised by them. Good luck, Lxx

Hi Lorraine,

I'm sorry to hear about your rheummy nurse and of course, the difficulty you're having with the Hydroxy.

I found myself feeling really dizzy when I started on it too. The blurred vision was also something I had and still do get rather frequently.

I've recently started taking both tablets at night and find that helps quite a bit. I still think it's worth having a chat to the GP about it though especially if you have other conditions that are reacting badly to the drug.

Hope you see some imprvement soon x
Joanna

Hi Lorraine

Sorry that you are having problems with HydroC. I have been taking this and like Joanne I take my tablets at night. Mind you now I think of it I have had the odd dizzy spell taht last for a matter of seconds. I was really nervous going on this as about the potential eye problem but was reassured by consultant as rare as hens teeth! I think its one of the mildest drugs eg doesnt effect the liver and doesnt need to be monitored.

Hope all settles down soon

Cool
